Bitcoin Suisse lands MiCAR license, appoints Przibylla to plant its flag across Europe 🏴
Zug, Switzerland, June 23rd, 2026 — The Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority has granted Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG a license as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) under MiCAR, clearing the European arm of the Swiss crypto pioneer to begin serving clients across selected EEA markets. The authorization, announced via Chainwire, builds on the entity's long-standing registration under Liechtenstein's Token and TT Service Provider Act (TVTG).
Bitcoin Suisse, founded more than a decade ago in Switzerland, said the license completes a three-jurisdiction regulatory footprint alongside its existing presence in Switzerland and Bermuda. The company is positioning itself as a premium provider of crypto financial services for high-net-worth individuals, corporates, and institutional investors, with core offerings in trading, custody, and staking supported by proprietary infrastructure and a model that assigns every client a dedicated relationship manager.
Roman Przibylla has been appointed CEO of Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG to lead the expansion. He joins with more than 15 years of distribution experience from senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, HSBC, Vontobel, and Maverix Securities. "The MiCAR license gives Bitcoin Suisse access to one of the largest and most sophisticated investor markets in the world. We can now bring high-net-worth and institutional clients in Europe what they truly need: infrastructure at the highest level and, at the same time, direct, personal points of contact with genuine crypto expertise. That combination is not a given in this market," Przibylla said.
Group Co-Founder and CEO Andrej Majcen framed the authorization as a step toward broader ambitions. "We are very proud of this milestone. The MiCAR authorization marks a decisive step on our journey towards a global brand and eventually becoming a global wealth management platform. Together with our presence in Switzerland and Bermuda, we now have the regulatory foundation to serve clients across some of the world's most important financial centers," Majcen said. Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG was founded in 2018.
