Ripple Thumbs Up 🗳️ XRPL 3.2.0 Amendment as 26% of Nodes Already Hit Update
Ripple has cast its vote in support of the fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment tied to the XRP Ledger 3.2.0 upgrade, with the proposal now open for validator voting on the XRPL mainnet. As of the latest data, the amendment shows 2.86% consensus among validators toward the 80% threshold required for activation.
The amendment bundles bug fixes and improvements for Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, permissioned DEX, Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPTs), and permissioned domains. It also retires numerous amendments activated more than two years ago, with the stated goal of streamlining the XRP Ledger for tokenization, decentralized finance and other use cases.
Node operators are responding to the release. Data indicates that 26% of nodes have already updated to XRPL 3.2.0, while 65% remain on 3.1.3 and the rest continue running earlier versions. Several prominent validators, including Ripple, have upgraded their infrastructure to the latest release.
Full activation of the amendment requires sustained 80% support from the default Unique Node List (dUNL) validators over a two-week window. Validators and node operators have been urged to upgrade ahead of full activation to avoid becoming amendment-blocked and falling out of consensus as the network advances toward the next protocol milestone.
