Aerodrome's native token $AERO has climbed 30% over the past three days, recovering the losses from early June and pushing back above the 200-day moving average on the higher-time-frame chart. The move has placed immediate resistance at $0.55, with $0.40 cited as a key support zone. A break below that level would expose a 2026 floor near $0.30.

The initial leg of this week's rally tracked $BTC's 5% relief bounce to $67,000, but $AERO then outpaced the largest cryptocurrency by roughly six times over the same window. Two company-level catalysts drove the divergence: the decentralized exchange confirmed its buyback program has now retired 190 million $AERO tokens, which are locked across venues including Flight School as part of the broader merger forming "Aero," a unified liquidity layer on Ethereum.

Over the weekend, Aerodrome also announced its largest upgrade to date, adding new revenue streams and a prediction-market feature known as Prediction Allocation. The product is scheduled to go live next month, timed to the peak of the World Cup football season, and a portion of the fees generated will be directed back into $AERO buybacks.
