BlackRock's XRP ETF Filing: Jake Claver Sees It Coming Before Your Portfolio Does 🚀

Jake Claver, Chairman of Digital Ascension Group, said he expects BlackRock to file for an XRP ETF as the asset manager moves to integrate the XRP Ledger into its tokenization efforts. Speaking in a recent interview clip, Claver said XRP would see "significant adoption of the XRPL" in the coming months and predicted the price of XRP would go "significantly higher." "I think that we could see a BlackRock ETF," Claver declared, adding, "And once the price is high enough that they can use it, we have both SWIFT and the DTCC going live with some of their things that they're rolling out for real-time settlement on the 28th of June." Separately, analyst Ali Martinez has set a breakout target above $1.30 for $XRP. Claver noted that XRP may need "a significantly higher price" before being used at scale for settlement-related functions tied to institutional infrastructure, pointing to a $1.30 resistance zone as a key technical marker.

BlackRock continues to expand its crypto ETF product line. Its Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, ticker $BTEF, is set to begin trading on Nasdaq on Tuesday, June 16. The firm already offers spot $BTC and $ETH ETFs and has been broadening its digital asset offerings throughout 2026. Claver's comments follow a surge of institutional interest in the XRP Ledger and related products, with XRPL Commons director Odelia Torteman previously announcing initiatives aimed at expanding the network's institutional footprint.
