Handle With Care: Hackers Hold Gay OnlyFans Stars' X Accounts Hostage for Crypto 🎭

A wave of hackers has hijacked the X accounts of gay OnlyFans creators, demanding crypto ransoms and flooding the stolen feeds with MAGA propaganda when victims refused to pay. Adult performer Patrick Bewley, known professionally as Daddy Patrick, lost access to an X account with 132,000 followers built in under two years after a phishing attack traced to a direct message from porn director Jasun Mark, whose own account had already been compromised, according to WIRED. The fake login link allowed the attacker to change the account's name, phone number and email and to swap the handle twice before rebranding the page with a Steve Bannon banner linking to his War Room platforms. By April 16, the account was posting Trump imagery, and the hijacker subsequently demanded $2,000 in GAT tokens to return it, escalating the price to $3,000 in crypto and contacting Bewley's employer, Ducati Studios Network, after he refused to pay. The feed then began reposting 20 to 30 MAGA items per day from accounts including @MAGAVoice. Bewley, 60, had paid for X verification but said the platform's support failed to restore his account. He was not the only target: performer Fabian Quezada, who works as Buck Bronco, was locked out on April 12 and received similar demands, per the report, with several other gay OnlyFans creators reporting comparable takeovers in which attackers weaponized the high-follower accounts for political messaging and crypto extortion.
