Analyst Floats "Utility-Based Pricing" as XRP's Escape Route From Bitcoin's Mood Swings

An independent market analyst known as CharuSan (@CharuSan83) is pitching a new valuation framework for $XRP, arguing the token's long-term price will be set by real-world transaction volume rather than crypto market sentiment. In a thread posted on June 12, 2026, the analyst said if $XRP ever reaches the $150–$300 range, the move would not be driven by the general upward trend, "correlation, speculation, buying or selling pressure" in the crypto market, but by what he calls a utility-based pricing model.

Under that framework, $XRP's price would no longer be decided by buyers and sellers on crypto exchanges, but by the velocity and volume of global money flowing through the XRP Ledger (XRPL) infrastructure. The analyst wrote that once global financial systems begin using XRPL settlement pipes, $XRP could decouple from $BTC and $ETH, with price reflecting trillion-dollar settlement flows instead of market sentiment. He also said $XRP could surpass $ETH over the long term as Ethereum faces stronger competition from smart contract platforms such as Solana and Sui, while $XRP remains focused on liquidity and settlement.

The analyst's more detailed follow-up post breaks down a $324 $XRP target, anchored to global markets adopting crypto and a full shift toward utility-based pricing. The calculation includes factors such as market cap evaluation, available supply, supply shocks, liquidity coverage ratios, and usage across On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) and Automated Market Maker (AMM) systems, as well as $XRP locked up for liquidity, incoming capital flows, and real settlement demand. He added that when global markets and institutions such as the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) are included, total value exposure reaches around 7–8 quadrillion, and he cited projections that more than $400 trillion in assets will be tokenized in the future.

The analyst also addressed more distant price scenarios, writing that $XRP could reach $10,000 one day, but "I don't think that day is near." He said the $324 figure was strictly based on global markets utilizing crypto and utility-based pricing, and that in a multi-chain future, $XRP will not need to carry global liquidity alone, with other assets also generating utility that flows through XRPL.
